1929
Pickup from £1450 |
| "Not showing up until August, 1928, was
Ford's Closed Cab Pickup, priced at $445, the same as the open cab model.
Despite it's new front end, the Closed Cab Pickup not only used the pickup
bed from Model-T days, but its entire cab was a direct carryover,
including the visor with its four prominent ribs. Designated the Model
82-A, the truck used all of the passenger car's components, differing
mainly in the use of painted radiator and headlight shells. Unless
specially ordered at extra cost, all commercial Fords were finished in
dark green with black fenders, running boards, and shells. All-black was a
no-cost special order option, and any of the passenger car colours were
available at extra cost." Source, "90 Years of Ford" George
H. Dammann. |
